New Final Fantasy PSP Game + FF XIII 2009 Confirmed!

Square Enix's DKS3713 Private Party is only in its first day, but already there's tons of news! The three most exciting Final Fantasy announcements (at least for me) are the following:

1) Final Fantasy XIII CONFIRMED for 2009
2) Final Fantasy Agito XIII has been announced for the PSP
3) Final Fantasy Dissidia will include Kefka



Why is Hamasaki Ayumi in Final Fantasy XIII?



Is she a FF summon? All signs point to "probably."


In addition to all of this, a playable demo of FF XIII will be available with the Japanese release of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children on Blu-Ray next March. Sweet! And although they did show a new trailer for Versus, it doesn't seem to reveal a whole lot more information.

But Final Fantasy games aren't the only ones I'm looking forward to. Sigma Harmonics looks interesting, with its blend of RPG, card-battle and puzzle. I'm digging the new direction S/E is going with their DS games. I love the mix of youthful gameplay with more adult themes.

BTW, if you're wondering why I haven't mentioned Kingdom Hearts, it's because I don't like the series (yeah, you read that right). However, there's lots of information on the new KH games as well, so be sure to check the front page for all the latest.

Nintendo DS highest-selling games device in Australia in Q3; PS3 the lowest

More than 140,000 DSs sold down under between July-September; PS3 at the bottom of the sales charts. Nintendo's recent hardware dominance has seen its share price reach record highs , and it seems that Aussies haven't been immune to the House of Mario's resurgence. New figures from industry tracker GfK Australia show that Nintendo had the highest-selling portable games device (the DS) and the highest-selling next-generation console (the Wii) down under in the last three months, easily eclipsing Sony and Microsoft. The Nintendo DS was far and away the highest-selling games device in Australia between the start of July and the end of September, selling close to 140,000 units. The DS sales figure of 139,483 units is almost five times that of its nearest equivalent, the PlayStation Portable, which sold 28,374 in the same time period. Ragnarok Online 3rd Class Jobs

If you don’t want to be reborn into a novice and start again, the Ragnarok 3rd Job Class is right for you. There are six kinds of 3rd Job Classes to be implemented soon. Hunters to become Rangers, Blacksmiths to become Mechanics, Knights to become Rune Knights, Assassin to become Guillotine Cross, Priest to become Archbishop and Wizard to become Warlock. When players decided to choose the Ragnarok third job path, they retain their level and their level limit becomes 150. These are only available for 2-1 classes only, no word yet for the 2-2 third jobs.
