Gundam 00 (the newest gundam)

A 15-second teaser trailer , which aired during Saturday's Toward the Terra broadcast in Japan, has officially announced Mobile Suit Gundam 00 , the newest television series in the Gundam robotic mecha franchise . The series will air at 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays (after Toward the Terra ends in that timeslot) starting in October 2007 on MBS and TBS network affiliates. Gundam 's original sponsor Sotsu and original studio Sunrise will return for this installment. The story will take place in 2307 AD of our modern calendar system—which is different from the fictional Universal Century calendar of the first Mobile Suit Gundam series, the Cosmic Era calendar of Mobile Suit Gundam Seed , and the four other previously used calendar systems. It will be the first time a Gundam animated project officially takes place in our modern calendar system. (There were two apparent uses of AD dates in the first Mobile Suit Gundam series and Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam series, but both dates

Mario Kart a game to be play.......

If you've ever been the proud owner of a Nintendo system, or have at least befriended somebody with one, odds are you've encountered a Mario Kart game at some point. The popular racing series, which first appeared on the Super Nintendo in 1992, lets you race your favorite Nintendo characters against each other in karts that can be armed with such devastating weapons as banana peels, opponent-seeking red shells, and opponent-shrinking lightning bolts. The series has evolved steadily with each iteration, up to and including 2003's Mario Kart: Double Dash, which retained most of its predecessors' features while introducing a new team-based mechanic that saw each cart manned by both a driver and a gunner. Mario Kart DS, then, might seem like something of a step back for the series in that it more closely resembles the Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64 games than the GameCube version; but, as the first game in the series to boast integrated online play, it also represents a ma

Nintendo DS highest-selling games device in Australia in Q3; PS3 the lowest

More than 140,000 DSs sold down under between July-September; PS3 at the bottom of the sales charts. Nintendo's recent hardware dominance has seen its share price reach record highs , and it seems that Aussies haven't been immune to the House of Mario's resurgence. New figures from industry tracker GfK Australia show that Nintendo had the highest-selling portable games device (the DS) and the highest-selling next-generation console (the Wii) down under in the last three months, easily eclipsing Sony and Microsoft. The Nintendo DS was far and away the highest-selling games device in Australia between the start of July and the end of September, selling close to 140,000 units. The DS sales figure of 139,483 units is almost five times that of its nearest equivalent, the PlayStation Portable, which sold 28,374 in the same time period. The Nintendo Wii is also the clear leader in next-generation console stakes, selling 61,027 units between July a

NBA LIVE 2008 ( what can you expect?)

You don’t need to go far to find someone who hasn’t exactly been impressed with the way the NBA Live series has been mishandled for the past few years. The series had offered a weak feature set on next-gen consoles, and basically poor controls that made playing it a chore. With stiff competition from 2K Sports and their acclaimed NBA 2K franchise, it was time for EA’s basketball series to shape up before it shipped out. However, the development team in EA Canada has realized these problems, and set out to rebuild the game from the ground up, focusing first on what makes five-on-five basketball just so damn fun. They’ve cleaned up the controls significantly, bumped up the framerate to a silky-smooth 60 frames per second. The most important thing, though, is that NBA Live 08 is actually pretty fun to play. NBA Live 08 is the most fluid game to hit the series in a long time, if not ever, and that’s thanks in part to some great new on-court moves that are present in the game

Sony PlayStation, Microsoft Xbox 360 and Nintendi Wii Comparison

The Sony PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii both jumped into the game console ring this weekend to compete against Microsoft's Xbox 360. Who is going to win? Everyone's watching to see how this battle plays out, because each company is pursuing a very different strategy. Sony and Microsoft are gunning for pure performance systems, while Nintendo is shooting at fun, playable games that rely more on its unique controllers than impressive graphics hardware. The consoles' prices follow the features and product strategy of each company: Sony PlayStation 3 Sony's PS3 is the most expensive at $500-600, because it includes a standard hard drive, a high definition Blu-ray optical drive, HD video output, Bluetooth wireless controllers, and--in the premium version--WiFi wireless networking. Sony is setting up the PS3 as a PC alternative. The premium model has a memory card reader for not only Sony’s own Memory Stick but also--in what must be an incredible fir

Pokémon Battle Revolution is the first title where players can link their Wii with Nintendo DS. Colosseum Battle Mode: Colosseums: There are 11 Colosseums (Battle Arenas) altogether throughout Pokétopia. September 25, 2007 - Over the years the Zelda franchise has evolved quite differently depending on if you're looking at the console side of things, or just the portable world. While the "main" series - if you can call it that - has progressed from classic 2D top-down to 3D, continuing to deliver the same enchanting, epic feeling from iteration to iteration, Link's portable ventures have been a bit skewed. It began humbly with Game & Watch, moved then to Link's Awakening - a pure pocket Zelda - only to morph into the Capcom-created Oracle of Ages/Seasons world, evolving yet again into the Four Swords-like design of Minish Cap on GBA, and finally residing here on DS with "The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass"The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass as a fully touch-based, 3D Zelda set in the world of Wind Waker. Is it the Zelda many of us expected? No. But the legend still lives on. From the moment it was revealed it was quite obvious that Nintendo wa

Sony PSP vs Nintendo DS

Processing Power This one is obviously in the PSP's favor. While the Nintendo DS has a very capable 3D chip, able to render the likes of Super Mario 64 , it's no contest that the PSP has more raw power than the DS. Even the launch games (which didn't exactly have a ton of time to be developed) approach the graphical abilities of the PlayStation 2. Comparing a PS2 to the N64 is like night and day, and that's pretty much the same comparison that can be made here. Really, this one is no contest. Winner: PSP Screen(s) With the pure processing power being the first, the screens of the two systems are really the second major battlefield that the two systems are waging battle on. The PSP's screen is no-doubt a beautiful thing, though the Nintendo DS has two of them, one of them being a touch screen. So which setup is better? It's hard to say. Each display type has its pros and cons. The PSP's screen is bright, vibrant and exceptionally clear. The viewing angle is
