Weight Loss Comes to DS

April 9, 2008 - Nintendo made our brains bigger with Brain Age, and now Ubisoft wants to make our guts smaller with its own casual experience. My Weight Loss Coach is coming, so start picking up pants one size smaller.

My Weight Loss Coach is made for the adult crowd who wants to keep track of their growing waistline. This cartridge encourages exercising and eating right in its ten different coaching sessions. It features multiple profiles that will track the progress of different users, charting all the highs and lows of the eating and physical activity on a daily basis.

Walk and eat right.


Packed in with each game is a pedometer that connects to the Nintendo DS via the GBA cartridge slot -- clip the pedometer on your pants, and then come home and connect the unit to the Nintendo DS to transfer all the steps that you've taken.

My Weight Loss Coach will be released in June for Canadians. US residents will have to wait until September to chart their weightloss on the Nintendo DS. The package will retail for $39.99 in the states, which includes the DS cartridge and the pedometer peripheral.

Nintendo DS highest-selling games device in Australia in Q3; PS3 the lowest

More than 140,000 DSs sold down under between July-September; PS3 at the bottom of the sales charts. Nintendo's recent hardware dominance has seen its share price reach record highs , and it seems that Aussies haven't been immune to the House of Mario's resurgence. New figures from industry tracker GfK Australia show that Nintendo had the highest-selling portable games device (the DS) and the highest-selling next-generation console (the Wii) down under in the last three months, easily eclipsing Sony and Microsoft. The Nintendo DS was far and away the highest-selling games device in Australia between the start of July and the end of September, selling close to 140,000 units. If you don’t want to be reborn into a novice and start again, the Ragnarok 3rd Job Class is right for you. There are six kinds of 3rd Job Classes to be implemented soon. Hunters to become Rangers, Blacksmiths to become Mechanics, Knights to become Rune Knights, Assassin to become Guillotine Cross, Priest to become Archbishop and Wizard to become Warlock.
